It is ON!
Today the FM announces the date for Indyref 2 and sets out the process to take us there, with a plan B as backup in case the Westminster government continues to deny democracy. A powerful performance, and seems to have taken the opposition by surprise, judging by their responses.

Friday Jun 03, 2022
Friday Jun 03, 2022
Guests Jenny Eeles and Dr Elliot Bulmer help us look at the options for an independent Scotland's constitution. In last month's Indy Jigsaw show we looked at the work being done to create an interim constitution for Scotland. After that show, lots of people asked about the Claim of Right, so this month we are carrying on that conversation. What is the Claim of Right? Is it still a valid argument? Is it enough for a modern independent country? Who benefits from having a written constitution? How hard is it to write a constitution anyway? Join us as we ponder these constitutional questions and more!
