Our podcast team had a day out in Edinburgh recently to attend a meeting called For A Scottish Republic, with a panel including the Lorna slater and Patrick Harvie, co-leaders of the Scottish Greens, John Hill from Our Republic and French journalist Assa Samake-Roman.
Along with our guest Marion Robertson, Fiona and Marlene share our favourite moments from the event and discuss the ideas which really hit home with us.

Not Our King - planning the Scottish republic

On the eve on the coronation, this week's podcast comes from a national forum meeting of the Radical Independence Campaign. 
Topics on the agenda include the preparations for the Not My King demonstration on Calton Hill in Edinburgh on 6th May, the Declaration of Calton Hill, thoughts on the role and focus of the RIC going forward and some ideas to strengthen the local group structure.

#MMT - Modern Monetary Theory - is the topic for this month's Mibbes Aye episode. Our guest is Jim Byrne who writes a series of economics articles for Bylines Scotland. Jim's articles give clear and accessible information about how Modern Monetary Theory works.
