As ever, excellent proposals from Craig & Common Weal, if only ScotGov was genuinely motivated to put people before profit. There’s scant evidence SNP will break from their economic neo-liberalism. The proposals for eg national energy company also raise questions re capability of ScotGov to appoint sufficiently capable, experienced teams to set up publicly-owned bodies which put people/planet before profit & rigorously enforce regs eg SNIB, SEPA, Marine Directorate all seen as failing...
